ABOUT US

Gaunavou Investments Company Limited (Gaunavou) was established as a public company on 13th January 1993. Since then, Gaunavou has slowly but surely grown to become a premier Real Estate investment vehicle for its shareholders

Gaunavou has a rich history and owes much of its success to the visionary founders at the time, along with leaders like the late Hon. Jonetani Kaukimoce and others. Through an initial share drive, more than 500 indigenous individuals invested their savings into buying parcels of shares in the Company. The initial capital raised enabled the Company to acquire its first property at 300 Rewa Street, which the BSP Bank's Samabula Branch now tenants on the ground floor and BSP Life on one-half of the first floor. Gaunavou has used the remaining space of the first-floor lining.

Several years later, the Company purchased the property at 79 Ratu Mara Road, which is today leased by Kasabia Pte Ltd, one of Fiji's leading and oldest hardware retailers.

Today, Gaunavou has acquired a vacant commercial block of land in Nadi's vibrant and upcoming area, commonly known as the "Legalega Subdivision." The Company has long-term plans for this block, as it is our toehold in building a presence in the fast-growing western corridor between Nadi and Lautoka city.

For the foreseeable future, though, Gaunavou has, as its prime strategy, will continue to accumulate assets in the Samabula Precinct of Suva as it is a strategic part of the economic energy of the Suva to Nausori corridor and therefore provide shareholders with good solid, capital gains and income growth.

Gaunavou is currently an unlisted public company with over 450 shareholders. We are on our way to achieving a complete listing on the South Pacific Stock Exchange in Suva.
